You cannot learn about surgery in a pub and certainly the church is not the place for you to learn about cooking your favourite meal. You need to enrol in the right school with a good teacher and attend the classes to learn new skills. Some have not enrolled in the school of the Holy spirit and some are missing classes. Spiritual ignorance will kill people without the knowledge of God! Acts 17:30 says And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men everywhere to repent.  In Rev4:1, Jesus told John to come up higher so he can learn some things – see what eyes have never seen and hear what ears have never heard. In John 7 , one of elders explained the meaning of what John saw to him. Rev7:13-14 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou know. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

We need to separate ourselves from the pressures of life and attend the school of the Holy Spirit. The Holy spirit only talks to people who are willing to learn. If you don’t ask him questions or talk to him, he won’t give you are answer.

We work to retire and enjoy our life but there is a place in God where we will not need to work again or pay bills.  Rev7: 14-17 And the elder said, “These are the ones who have come out of the great suffering. They have washed their robes[a] with the blood of the Lamb, and they are clean and white. So now these people are before the throne of God. They worship God day and night in his temple. And the one who sits on the throne will protect them. They will never be hungry again. They will never be thirsty again. The sun will not hurt them. No heat will burn them. The Lamb in front of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs of water that give life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
