Many of us want to get healed without getting close to Jesus. The woman with the issue of blood defy all odds to get close to Jesus. People around didn’t even notice she came for the crusade. Only Jesus did because she pulled something “virtue -healing power” out of him.

Friends, everything we need is in Jesus! 2 Cor1:20 says “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us”. Therefore, we can’t really get anything from God without getting in Him (Jesus).

Most people don’t know how to get in him. Pr18:10 gives us a clue – “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; a righteous person runs to it and is raised high above danger”.

That means the name of the Lord is a place and we can run into it. How? Let’s read Ps 91- (AMPC) “I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness – trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never]”.

The key word is having a personal revelation of the name of God. I’ve observed that God reveals his name or personality first when he is about to do something. He told Abraham in Genesis 17 (AMPC) “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am the Almighty God; walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete)”

God said unto Moses in Ex3:14, I Am That I Am: and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. This means God is whatever you want him to be!

People were confused about the identity of the man called Jesus (of course he is “Emmanuel -God in us”). However, he is “CHRIST – the anointed one and his anointing”. Jesus Christ is the last revelation of the name of God to us.

That is why there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts4:12). Phil2:9 says the name of Jesus is above every other name.

I observed something in Acts 3:6, Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. The name of Jesus can certainly do much more that Silver and Gold. However, most of us prefer to spend our time chasing silver and Gold than getting a personal revelation of the name of Jesus. When people wondered how the lamed man was healed Peter said –  “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all” Acts3:16

If you want to be made whole, get a personal revelation of the name of Jesus!!!
