God will shine his light in your heart today to give you the best picture of God you will ever see in Christ Jesus.

Jesus reminded me of one of his parables about the kingdom of God this morning and I want to share it with you.

This is the parable:
God’s kingdom is like a man who planted good seed in his field. That night, while everyone was asleep, the man’s enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and then left. Matthew 13:24-25.

The Lord said, the enemy planted the weed ( which actually looks like the seed but it is poisonous) because everyone slept.

He said many are sleeping today and have allowed the devil to plant words in their hearts that looks like God’s word but it is not.

He said some allowed these words to grow in their hearts to the point that it is now choking them and they are struggling to live.

Jesus said in Matt25:41,Watch and pray so you won’t enter into temptation! However, some are praying and not watching and some watching and do not praying.

The Lord said, WAKE UP !!!

Dear friends , this is a wake up call!

Please make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. The night is about over, dawn is about to break. Be up and awake to what God is doing!

God is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work he began when we first believed.

We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight.

Get out of bed and get dressed!

Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute.
Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!
Romans 13:11-14 MSG
