May the Lord embed his laws in your heart and fastened them to your thoughts.

When John introduced Jesus , he said “Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the whole world” Jn1:29

Jesus came to remove the old covenant which is based on continuous sacrifices and offering for atonement of sins.
The old covenant sacrifices reminds people of their sins and how they are not qualified to get help from God.

The sad thing is most of our worship today is still based on sacrifices and offerings.
Most Christians still don’t have confidence in their prayers and devotion to God. They still need spiritual leaders to help them present their case to God when God wants them directly in his presence.

Jesus replaced the old covenant based on sacrifices and offering with a new one based on OBEDIENCE!

Heb10:9 AMP [And so] He does away with the first [covenant as a means of atoning for sin based on animal sacrifices] so that He may inaugurate and establish the second [covenant by means of obedience].

The key word in the new testament is finding out what was written about you and doing it – OBEDIENCE!.

My friend, Jesus didn’t just do things because others did it, he read the book (Torah and Prophets – called the old testament) to see what was written about him and did what was written about. Everything thing about him was a direct fulfilment of the scriptures.

Jesus found himself in the Bible!!! -Luk4:17

If you are a follower of Jesus, you must also find what was written about you in the Bible and begin to do it.
That is why I want you to find a Bible study group to join so you can learn God’s word.

Jesus came to tell us obeying God is more important than most of our offerings and sacrifices.

Why don’t you pray to the father now;

Heavenly father, I do not want to live in vain, help me find what was written about me in the scriptures and give me the grace to obey you in Jesus name.
