Get understanding!

May the Lord thoroughly open up our minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45 AMPC).

Prov4:7 says with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).

Just because someone or something is good doesn’t mean they are good for you!

You need to understand why good things might not be a perfect fit!

Understanding always leads to a change of heart and attitude and the end result is healing and fruitfulness.

If you don’t understand a person or thing , you will relate with them for the wrong reasons. Jesus’s disciples thought he came the first time to stay. They didn’t know he came to die , rise and come back again!
Many are behaving today as if Jesus will not come back.

People think we are on earth to live, enjoy and die!

No, we have a spirit that will never die and we are on earth to live and determine how we will live forever.

Some married couples are lonely and some die without kids, if you don’t understand the purpose of marriage you’ll think it’s only companionship and having children.

If you don’t understand why your company exists and the key players in the organisation you will always be frustrated.

If you don’t understand your body, the medication that works for others won’t work for you.

If you don’t understand how a culture came to be, you will not get the best out of it.

I asked the question, why do we do cross over night and how did it start?.

There is politics everywhere, even in the family. Politicians do not have permanent enemies but interest! You need to understand this!

STOP!

Why are you doing things the way you do it now?

Why are you in your current role? Is the current job the only way to have abundance?

Are you still in an abusive relationship because you cannot divorce? Don’t you think your spouse will remarry after you’re dead?

Your company will hire another person when are not longer fit to work!

Why do we have different religions and just one God? Why is it that all you believe about God is what they told you?

Don’t you know those kids will leave home one day and you’ll be by yourself.

What exactly do you want from life?

What do you think God wants from you? Do you have an understanding of why you are created the way you are?.

There something you need to do this year to get understanding – read the scriptures and ask questions!
Ask questions to get understanding!

I said scriptures because books written by people sometimes have personal opinion which may not be entirely true that they want to pass on to readers!

God told Joshua:
Take the scriptures,
Meditate on it to get understanding,
Take action based on your understanding and observations and not what people do or say.
THEN
You will prosper and have good success! Jos1:8
