The Lord will give you a word that will bring you out of your comfort zone and move you to where you need to be – your garden of Eden!

That is one of our confession for 2022 – a year of landmark achievement.

You have stayed long enough at this mountain -Deut1:6!

There was a story of 4 lepers in the scripture, they were hungry but can’t go to the city for the fear of being killed. So they said,”If we stay here we will die of hunger, why don’t we go to the city and see if they will save us” So they went to the city and discovered those who were meant to kill them have disappeared and left plenty of goods including food.

God said in 2Cor6 “Come out from among them and be separate and I will be a God unto you and take care of you”

This is the word of the Lord to you today.

1. My friend you need to cut off some relationship as from today. Some of them are like crabs that drags others down- have you heard of crabology before? That person you don't want to leave because of what people will say will not help you. Remember, "An Eagle cannot fly amongst the chicken"

2. You need to get up from the sit life circumstances have confined you to. Isa61: 1-2 says "Arise from the depression and circumstances that life has kept you". Shine for the glory of God is upon you but you have to arise!

3.Don't sit amongst the scorners and those who procastinate. Please read Ps1 again. People who criticise leaders don't usually become one. Why do you always think you must start from the bottom of the ladder when you can start from the middle or even top and create another level for yourself. After all the sky is just the beginning of another realm.

What are your fears?
Why are you afraid to move on?

Let me tell you a personal story maybe it will encourage you.

My former place of work was 5mins walk from my house. Everyone love Bukky there- I even won an award! Then I realized my Director that I love so much got a promotion and left. See, people will live you one day oooo. They won’t stay in the grave with you – lesson for another day!
So I applied for this role that I believe i was qualified for and was not offered the job. I was told I did very well at the interview but they just didn’t want to give me the job – see I didn’t bother to argue with them.

So I decided to test the market to see how much I can get by applying to another role. Your career development is in your hand my friend!

Guess what? I got a role,BUT it offered less and I have to commute 3 hours daily.

Hmmm from 5mins walk to 3 hours commuting!
You might say why did I applied for the role? I used it to prepare for another job interview I didn’t get.

So accepting this new job became a big struggle.

Then the Lord spoke “Come out from amongst them -2Cor6:17” God usually speaks to me through the scriptures.

A friend of mine told me” I’ve always known you to be someone who obeys God, so just obey him if you are convinced he spoke”

I had wanted to do an MBA, my old job agreed that I could do compressed hour and I was going to take student loan to do it. I felt like I will miss that opportunity.

Hmm ,let me tell you how this God that we serve works so you can get some understanding:

He asked me to ask for salary increase in the new place of work before I started – it was approved!

I ask my new employer permission to work from home one day a week, my manager said it will be considered after 3 months. Hmmm, Covid-19 started after 3 weeks of starting and we were all ask to work from home.

I have been working from home since then oooo- won’t tell you how long do you are not jealous.

See , some miraculous things happened I can’t tell because of data confidentiality.
Now, I am doing an MBA, fully paid for and I even get time off work to do it.

See, I have met wonderful people at my current place of work. God gave me a good boss and wonderful people.
Thank God for giving me the grace to move from my former place of work.

Let’s conclude with what God told the children of Israel Deut1-6-8, you have dwell long enough on this mountain – go and take the land, the Lord has given it to you.

May the Lord give you understanding.
