Looks like the “garden of the Lord BUT…” (Textword220623).
The Lord will make a way of escape for you.
The Lord will see to it that you get the best out of the situation.
The worst time to take a decision is when you are under pressure or when there is a conflict.
In Gen13, there was a conflict between the servants of Abraham and Lot.
So Abraham told Lot , the land is before you. Take whatever you want!
Avoid conflict at all cost. Separate yourself from contentious people.
Where there is strife and envying there is confusion and every evil work-James3:16.
So, Lot chose the Jordan valley because it has plenty of water BUT he didn’t know God has earmarked the area for destruction because the people are evil.
When taking a decision, don’t choose based on immediate benefits you can see. Consider the long term benefits
So Lot went to pitch his tent near Sodom which was destroyed about 20 year later.
Do you know God is rich in long suffering and he is waiting on you to come to him?
God gave the city of Sodom and Gomorrah plenty of time to repent but they refused.
The city was destroyed and Lot came out with nothing, even his wife was turned to a pillar of salt.
I pray that conflict or circumstances of life will not make you take a decision that will make you loose all in the end.
God saved Lot because of Abraham , we will critically examine this in another post.
Peace be unto you!
Have a lovely day!
God bless you.
