Encourage yourself!!!

Pressure can make us doubt and give up.

Sometimes, we stopped believing people and God becuase of situations of life.

John the Baptist introduced Jesus to the whole world as the Lamb of God.

In John 1, he even told people how God showed him how he will recognise Jesus when he sees him.

Few months later doubt sets in!

He got into prison in Matt11, sent his disciples to ask Jesus whether he was the one from God or not.

I don’t know why he did this but I read something today that might be a clue ” He heard about what Jesus was doing in the Prison”

Maybe he was thinking, if indeed his cousin (Jesus) is the one God told him about, he should have come to save him from prison.

Hmm, sometimes we expect too much from people and let them take the place of God in our lives.

Don’t look up to a man to save you, LOOK UP TO GOD!!!

It’s apparent John was offended. He said good things about Jesus before he went to Prison.

My dear, prison of life can make you think irrationally!

I love the answer Jesus gave to John in Matt11:2-6, if you are in doubt about where I am from , see the works that I am doing (check out the great works!). No one can do those works except he is from God (even Nicodemus testified about this in John3).

Please keep a record of good works you are doing – at work, in the family, at school, in the community. Please praise yourself and encourage yourself and thank God for giving you the grace to accomplish those things.

When people are about in doubt of who you are or what you can do, please don’t doubt yourself!

Know who you are in Christ Jesus!!!

Someone reading this is really trying hard but not appreaciated at work, by spouse, family and even friends- STOP!!!

Say – I am a GOOD person, I refused to doubt myself, God will bring a worthy person that will appreciate me!
