Don’t fight as one who beats the air!

I was cooking and heard this word in my spirit – Born for a purpose!

As I was meditating on this, I heard what was written in 1Kings19:4 about Elijah where he prayed ” Lord, this is too much, TAKE MY LIFE”

Someone actually wanted to die and we are afraid to die. Hmmm…..

I also remember the story of another man (Hezekiah) who God told it’s time to die, he begged God and had another 15 years and caused problem for his children.

This life sef!!!

The best way to live is to live like you are not going to die – I will preach about this if the Lord permits!

Have you considered these 2 scenario, Elijah wanted to die, God did not say anything and gave him extra 24 years+ and he even came back! (As John the Baptist) but Hezekiah begged God not to die.

It’s amazing how as Christians, we beg God for things which people who don’t even know God get freely -sermon for another day!

So why didn’t God allow Elijah to die when he wanted to ?

There was an assignment for him – he needs to train another person to take his place (Elisha).

My friend, you are reading this text because God needs you for a purpose!!!

Again, what I don’t understand about the choice of Elisha is that God had 7,000 prophets who didn’t compromise but yet chose someone someone who is totally new to ministry – a business man!

God did not even chose the servant of Elijah. Elijah left his servant and ran away – read 1King19:3-4. One day BISHOP will run and leave you oooooooo!

Hmmm, again I don’t understand God’s way of doing things but, I know Elisha was a man who was willing to abandon his plan and follow God’s plan.

Heb9:27 says “Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God”

My Muslim friends, I know Al Quran said something about the day of resurrection!

Please don’t live to get miracles and work for things you will not own in the end!

A friend told me after the mum passed ” I don’t know what I am going to do with all her clothes – they are many!”. I know she gave away many before she died but the cloth can’t fit any of the children!

What you have now may be useless for people alive when you are gone.

Lord, let these words burn in our heart, let it pricked our soul so we can live for you.

Do works that will make people praise God and thank God you came to earth!!!.

May the Lord give you wisdom.

You will find love this month.
