Don’t fall for it. Whatever you’ve heard or seen that is not in line with the word of God is a lie. God has not changed his mind. He is not the son of a man that he should lie. The one who called you is completely dependable, if he said it he would do it. In Gen15:1-5 Abram said to God, “What will you give me seeing that I go childless” God took him out and showed him another vision. May God give you another vision. Jairus came to Jesus for help in Mark5 and while Jesus delayed a little bit, some people came with a different news. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” Mark5:35 The devil is a liar. All will be well. God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, his promise is likewise unchangeable. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek.
