I pray that you will want to know more and more about God and his Son Jesus Christ.

Today we celebrate Prophets, some will travel hundreds of miles to see them. However, God wants to talk you directly.

When you don’t learn to talk to God, you will assume so many things that are wrong and won’t see what God is doing. You will also be deceived!

A man that was meant to leave for 172 years thought he will die at 75 without a child until God showed him a nation will come out of him.

Let me ask you a question – what do you know about your future?

Why do you need a Prophet to tell you about your future when you have a heavenly father that knows everything!

Parents don’t tell others things about their children except there is a relationship breakdown – think about that!

It’s the same with God! He wants to tell you things directly.

Let me tell you a true life story.

A man defeated 5 kings with 318 personal staff. This man was very rich and famous but there was something eating him up on the inside – He had no son!

There is also something on your mind right now that is bothering you but couldn’t tell anyone – have a conversation with Jesus about it.

This man said ” I will not allow anyone to say he made me rich”

When someone other than God make you rich, you will become their slave.

When God becomes second priority in your life ( no time for God’s kingdom work, evangelism, prayer and Bible study) , then we know he didn’t make you rich!

One day this man had a vision and God said to him ” I am your GREAT REWARD” Gen 15:1

I didn’t understand what God said to this man for years.

Literarily, God said to this man, when it comes to reward you can get in life from people, I am the best REWARD you can have.

The truth is, no reward in this life is permanent!
You will need a new cloth, car, house, even your children will leave home one day, parents will die and leave you BUT God will never leave you nor forsake you.

Today God is saying to you “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).

Learn how to have a convesation with God.

God speaks when you talk to him especially when you read and think about his words in the scriptures!.

Remember PRAYER is not a tick box exercise, it is having conversation with God.
