May God surround you with people who are willing to obey Him. However, his choice may not be attractive to you!

This is one revelation I am taking into 2021.

God didn’t send Elijah to Obadiah (A Christian and the Chief of Staff to the King who hid and fed 100 prophets when Jezebel threatened to kill them ), He sent Elijah to the widow of Zareth.

A widow willing to share her last meal in obedience to God is what you need!
You don’t need a Pastor or Imam who will just pray for you or a Christian brother who will say “It is well” or a friend who will say “I am sorry to hear that“. You need an Angel from God- Angels hearkens to the voice of His command!

When we have a need , we look for people who we think can help us but God doesn’t work that way. I am amazed at how some people raise fund for church activities. Brethren, you don’t need rich people, you need people who are willing to obey God!

God use people who are not attractive and we think have less resources to carry out his will! God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame-1Cor1:27

No wonder Jesus said, “Isn’t it true that there were many widows in the land of Israel during the days of the prophet Elijah when he locked up the heavens for three and a half years and brought a devastating famine over all the land? 26 But he wasn’t sent to any of the widows living in that region. Instead, he was sent to a foreign place, to a widow in Zarephath of Sidon who was willing to obey God” -Luke4:25-26

I pray that as you move to 2021 , may the Lord raise and surround you with people who are willing to fulfil God’s words in your life.

The Corinthian church were very rich in spiritual gifts but Paul had to beg them to give. Paul said, Beloved ones, we must tell you about the grace God poured out upon the churches of Macedonia. For even during a season of severe difficulty and tremendous suffering, they became even more filled with joy. From the depths of their extreme poverty, super-abundant joy overflowed into an act of extravagant generosity. For I can verify that they spontaneously gave, not only according to their means but far beyond what they could afford -2Cor8:1-3

In 2021, you need people who are willing to obey God and not those you will beg to do things for you.

To all who obeyed God to support the assignment God has given me in 2020, My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in Glory. You will not lack anything good in Jesus name.
