May the Lord open your eyes , give you a word that will set your future before you so you will not run in vain.

Moses lived for 120 years.
He was born to deliver people from bondage and take them to the promise land – Cannan

He saw the land of Cannan but didn’t enter ( He allowed what people did to cause him sin against God!).

I want to draw your attention to some things in his life.

The first 40 years was in the palace. Trained like a prince and enjoy the best of life! This was covered by just some verses in the bible not even a whole chapter!

The second 40 years was in the wilderness. He got married, have children and was the CEO of his father in-law business. Again this was covered by just few verses in the Bible.

Most people called these 2 phases of life an achievement. However, we were not just born to go to school, work, marry and raise children. There is more to life!!!

The truth is Moses’s real life started at 80 years.. 80 years of his life was just covered by few verse in the scripture. The last 40 years of his life produced the following books
Genesis
Exodus
Leviticus
Numbers
Deuteronomy.

Most of the things in these books were not what he learned in the palace, school, wilderness but they were direct revelations from God.

Moses told us the story of creation, the flood, we got to know about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph through Moses. These were events that happened before his time but God gave him revelation and helped him out this together so we can read it

Thank God for Moses!

What have got from God that will help mankind?

Direct revelations from God last longer than people who got it. If you want people to talk about you after you’re gone, don’t build houses/businesses because they will become obsolete – GET a REVELATION from GOD and pass it on to people.

My friend, you need an encounter with the Lord if you want to last long.

Moses’s life begins with the burning bush experience – Ex3:2 It was an encounter that change the course of his life – 40 years that save millions from bondage.

Without that encounter, he would have lived and died as CEO of his father inlaw business. It’s not even his own business!

Please pray for an encounter that will transform your life and make you live out your purpose so you will not run in vain.
