May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

If you have been praying for something without getting the answer you want, then this post is for you.

Let’s be real with ourselves – the answers we receive from prayers are not directly proportional to the prayers we make!

Jesus said: God will answer us speedily (Lk18:8). So why are we not getting quick answers?

Why is there a delay? I don’t believe God delays!!!

Some have come up with 5 steps to get results, acronyms like PUSH (you know the meaning now), 7 am, 1 am, mountain prayers… Why do you have to pray so hard for the same thing before you get an answer?

Let me not talk about those into holy water, mantle, anointing oil… If indeed it is working, why are not all our problems solved by now? Why are we paying for what Jesus gave us free?

Did Jesus say we must call His name 21 times before He answers – we now call the name of God like the prophets of Baal did in 1 Kings 18.

We pray very hard to get a job, and people who don’t know God even got a better job.

We pray 5 times daily, and so what?

Why must we pray and fast at all times before we get things from God – are you not tired?

Jesus, Elijah, Peter… raised the dead without fasting – there’s something we are not doing right!

To my fellow Africans (especially Nigerians), shouldn’t we have a better country now if our prayer is effective?

My friend, it’s time to learn and say EFFECTIVE prayers. Effective prayers make dynamic power available!!!

In Matt6, Jesus said 6 things in 2 sentences that are key to getting results quickly when you pray.

1. The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant.
2. They’re full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling techniques for getting what you want from God.
3. When you pray, find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God.
4. The focus must shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense His grace.
5. This is your Father you are dealing with, and
6. He knows better than you what you need.
