We worship God so we see things through HIS LIGTH and not just get rewards from him. God is light and there is no darkness in Him.

The purpose of our fellowship with God is to ensure we come under his light so we can see what is not visible with natural eyes. If you switch off the light in your room now, there will be darkness (without the windows or doors opened). Anyone that walks in darkness will stumble. You can not see danger when it is dark. You cannot see everything around you with natural eyes. For example, you can’t see Angels, Demons, Virus (Corona virus) and Jesus. They all exist within the air! However, you need a more powerful light or THE LIGTH to see them. In Gen 1, there are 3 Lights and one (THE LIGTH-Jesus) gives power to the other two (Gen1:2, Gen1:16)

Anyone with a broken fellowship with God can only see through natural eyes. The person can’t see enemies arrows during the day and terrible suffering that comes at noon. Therefore, most people run to a Seer (an old testament prophet) to get information on what is going to happen to them.

Studying the word of God gives Light. David said, “For You, O Lord, are my lamp; The Lord illuminates and dispels my darkness. For by You I can run upon a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall”- 2 Sam 22:29-30. You can only run over the enemies you can see. He further said; God’s word is a shining light that guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear” –Ps119:105 TPT.

Wow, this is amazing! The word of God can make us see what is in the heart of men according to Heb4:12 (TLB) For whatever God says to us is full of living power: it is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts, exposing us for what we really are.

In conclusion, I proclaim to you what I have seen and heard about God so that we may share and enjoy this life (fellowship) together.   For truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus, the Anointed One. This is the message God has given us to pass on to you: that God is Light and in him is no darkness at all. So, if we say we are his friends but go on living in spiritual darkness and sin, we are lying. But if we are living in the light of God’s presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin –1Jn1:3-7.

Eternal life is in him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness
