The names of people who worked to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem was recorded in Nehemiah 3,10,11&12. This tells us that whatever we do for the Kingdom of God will not go unnoticed. Heb6:10 says For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

People may despise what you are doing or have done thinking it was small. Some may even consider it as a waste like they told the woman who broke an Alabaster box of perfume for Jesus. Jesus said her name will be mentioned everywhere the gospel is preached. The gospel of Mark didn’t mention her name (Mk14:3) but the gospel of John did (John12:3). Men may forget to include your name on the list but God has his own record and you will be remembered. I believe some decisions will be overturned and you will get what belongs to you. The truth is , your name has been written down against your good deeds  and it will be rewarded when you don’t expect it.

God sent an angel to tell Cornelius – Your alms and prayers has come up to God as a memorial Acts10:3. I don’t know how long he prayed for but one day he got his reward.  When Mordecai exposed the plot to kill the king , he was not rewarded for a long time . However, a day came when the Lord made the king to visit the record and his name came up for promotion.

God has not forgotten you! When I think about the story of Joseph, I worship God in awe! God caused a famine in a nation so that the word he gave to someone could come to pass. Ps105:15-22 (ERV) says He caused a famine in that country, and people did not have enough food. But he sent a man named Joseph to go ahead of them. Joseph was sold like a slave. They tied a rope around his feet and put an iron ring around his neck. Joseph was a slave until what he said had really happened. The Lord’s message proved that Joseph was right. So the king of Egypt set him free. That nation’s leader let him out of jail. He put Joseph in charge of his house. Joseph took care of everything the king owned. Joseph gave instructions to the other leaders.
